It’s been another month, so I’m going to show off my progress!
This month has been consumed by working on my imperial guard, a hodgepodge of units making up the Lion’s Protectorate defense force that is my army. Here goes, in chronological order:
First up, the Sentinel. This one has been primed for over a year, and I finally got to it and painted it up. Very happy with what I’ve done, though I still could paint more, the top is removable to have an open cockpit for the scout variant of the sentinel, and all of the models I painted throughout May will need unit markings and such.
Next up is the first Leman Russ. This one I’ve named The Lion’s Ire. This will be my tank commander until I am playing at a points level that will let my Rogal Dorn tank be fair game.
The Kasrkin came next, and I had a hell of a time painting them. This one squad took three weeks or so to finish.
Assembled the next half of my thousand points motor pool. Two Hippogryphs and the Centaur RSV. I also primed them, but I don’t have any pictures of that.
My second Leman Russ, I’ve been calling this one Judgement’s Dictator. Not sure about this name tbh. I might workshop it.
The last model I finished in May is my Force’s leader. This is the Minka Lesk Black Library model, but I’m running her as M’Kia, the Lion’s Guard leader from the Lion: Son of the Forest book. She’s here to protect and uphold the Lion’s interests.
As mentioned before, these models all need squad and unit markings, but overall I’m quite happy with my progress thus far on my 11th edition army. Until next month, happy hobbying!
